Built on 25 years of excellence
The MIP is an extension of "MME", a strategic marketing firm which has served the microscopy & imaging world with strategic direction, market research, and new product and company launches since 1991.  However, since microscopy touches everything in our world, from the chips that run our cell phones, cars and computers, to the bugs and viruses that plague us, to the biotech and nanotech devices that assist medical progress and promise new energy alternatives, it was logical that we expand to serve these other arenas with the same techniques and processes that have catapulted our clients to success for over 25 years.  

Why a Consortium?
In 1991, when founder Barbara Foster came back into consulting after serving nearly a decade as a prominent Director/Manager of Technical Marketing, "consultants" were people between jobs.  The challenge: how to differentiate our dedicated experts from those interim job seekers.  Building a consortium was the answer. Not only did the consortium concept allow us to establish our true credentials, it opened a much broader range of  services for our customer and controlled overhead so that we could offer large-company services at more reasonable pricing.  Two decades later, the consortium concept is still a win:win situation for both consultants and clients alike.
